After playing 3 sports in college I had the unique opportunity to continue to compete in football at the professional level in the arena football system. A torn ACL in 2010 ended that dream and left me searching for something to fill the void left by competitive sport. Enter CrossFit, a former teammate placed 6th at the CrossFit games that year which peaked my interest. I found the closest box, emailed the owner and attended my first class the next day.

I was Humbled by how simple the workout was and how much trouble it gave me. That challenged hooked me. I knew CrossFit was what I'd been missing in my training.

I also knew CrossFit could revolutionize the way I approached my clients. Having worked in the fitness industry since 2006 while playing football I always found it difficult to get my clients to understand the path needed to achieve their goals in a normal gym setting. 6 months after starting CrossFit I attended my L1 and started coaching. Just over a year after that We opened CrossFit Muskego and have been changing lives ever since.

We believe in change. Change can be scary, intimidating and incredibly challenging but anything worth having does not come with out challenge. At CrossFit Muskego we don't make excuses, we make changes. Changes to your nutrition, Changes to your exercise routine and Changes to your lifestyle to help you achieve more than you thought possible.

My competitive nature and desire to be healthy/fit has always helped me enjoy the gym. As a result, most of my career has been focused on health and fitness. I strive to promote personal growth and a sense of community/family here at Wisco Fit Solutions. It’s enjoyable to push others in encouraging and motivational ways. it inspires me to watch them do more than they ever thought possible for themselves. My passion for helping others achieve their goals is what drives me to be the best coach and personal trainer I can be. I believe in the quote, “how you do one thing is how you do everything.” — basically, how you handle and manage any situation, challenge or experience in your life is how you probably handle all of them. Put all that motivation and drive into every aspect and watch yourself succeed.

My day 1 of Crossfit in 2012 introduced to me a community of amazing people all on their own fitness journey, bonded together with a camaraderie I had never experienced. Crossfit has allowed me to not only positively change my own health, body composition, & physical fitness, but has provided me with a platform to show others how to do the same. That spark within to strive to get a little better each day is what led me to becoming a coach. I love to see our members gain confidence & self-esteem by accomplishing something they weren’t sure they could do, or achieving goals they had set for themselves! I truly believe that the athlete we become in the gym effects the person we are in our outside lives.

I have been in the fitness industry since 2008. I graduated from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities and have been a personal trainer since 2009. I carry many specialties under my belt, including Pre & Post Natal, Functional Resistance Training with our elderly population and cancer survivors. Fitness to me is not just about working out and staying fit, to me a truly is a way of life. Fitness is a way to relieve stress, to have fun, and to escape from life for a while. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing my clients do something for the first time. Especially when they accomplish something they never thought possible or thought they would never do again. I strive to give everyone I work with what they personally need, it's designed for you and no one else. We always here the phrase “Treat Yo Self”, usually it means to a sweet treat or anything of that nature, but I am saying treat yourself to us, treat yourself to better health, a better life.
